  • What do I need to bring for my dogs boarding stay?
    You will need to provide proof of your dog’s up-to-date vaccinations (DHPP, Rabies and Bordetella) by emailing a copy to us or by uploading a picture directly to your Propet account if you are already a client. Please prepare your dog(s) food, treats in an appropriate size container. Bowls, blankets, toys are provided for all dogs however you are welcome to bring one if your dog requires a raised or slow-feed bowl. We can accommodate to raw/wet feeding as well.
  • Do I need to pre-pay for my dog’s stay?
    You do not need to pre-pay for your dog’s stay, however we do require a 50% non-refundable deposit when booking a reservation over any peak period or booking 7 nights or over. The remaining balance may be paid when picking up your dog.
  • What is the fee for my dog to stay overnight and what is included in that fee?
    Our rate is $33/night ($35/night for peak periods) per dog. We do have discounts for multiple dogs from the same family. Our nightly rate is all-inclusive, which means this includes extras such as daycare, administration of medication and private playtimes (for dogs that are not candidates for daycare).
  • Are all dogs allowed in daycare?
    Upon arrival, we go through a questionnaire to find out about your dog’s personality, health and behaviour history. If he/she does not have any previous aggressive history, we will then proceed with an assessment and introduction process in the daycare. During the introduction process, our trained staff will watch for behaviours that indicate whether your dog is a good candidate for daycare or if they are more suited for private playtimes or walks with our staff.
  • What happens if my dog is not a good candidate for daycare?
    Dogs that are not suited for daycare receive individual supervised playtimes and/or walks.
  • Can my dog come for a trial day?
    YES! We want to make the experience as stress-free as possible, which is why we offer the first day of daycare FREE! We want your pup to meet some new friends, get used to the environment and meet our friendly staff before his/her stay. Please contact us to pre-book!
  • Can I check in on my dog while she stays with you?
    Of course, please do! We love telling clients how much fun their dogs are having! We welcome calls or emails, and we also offer daily picture uploads to our Facebook page of the dogs playing in daycare (weather permitting), so clients can simply see pictures of their dogs having fun at their own convenience.
  • Do I need to make an appointment for a tour?
    We offer tours by appointment during our office hours. Please contact us to reserve your spot today!
  • My dog is on raw food. Can you accommodate?
    Yes! We have many guests on raw diets so we are very familiar with raw food.
  • My dog is on medication. Can you administer it and what is the charge?
    All of our staff are trained to administer everything from daily supplements to oral medications and eye drops. Please note we are unable to administer injectable medications. As well, our rates are all-inclusive so you do not need to pay extra for us to give your dog his/her medications.
  • My dog is fed twice a day. Will he stay on this schedule?
    Yes we will keep your dog on the same feeding routine that they follow at home. Please ask us about specialized feeding schedules if your dog requires a custom schedule.
  • Is there a check-out time?
    Yes, only during our office hours is pick up available, however if you pick up your dog during our afternoon/evening office hours there is an additional fee of $15 plus tax per dog for the extra half day of care.
